What's up, guys, gals, and non-binary pals? I'm MetalTom1117! Just a 22-year-old guy with autism who loves Mario (fan since childhood), The Legend of Zelda, My Hero Academia, The Lord of the Rings and stuff like that.

Changing my Username and Profile

Hi guys, I've decided now that I have Core Membership, I'm going to change my username. For 7 years now I've gone by MetalGearTom and for most of my years on DA I've kept my profile as Homura. My username was a product of its time. When I first made my account back in 2015, I was a huge fan of the Metal Gear series and knew a ton about the lore. When I first made my account, I struggled to find a proper username before I finally settled on "MetalGearTom" a combination of Metal Gear, one of my favorite video game franchises, and Thomas, my real name. Little did I know in the following 7 years I would heavily lose interest in the franchise and forget a ton about the lore. Less than a year later I would also settle on a profile picture that would stay with me for years: A profile picture of Homura Akemi. This too was also a staple of its time, as this was heavily reflective of the period of when I was a big fan of Madoka Magica and OBSESSED with Homura. However, ever since university I
